Taste of Game Launch Grouse and Whinberry Crisps

2nd July 2015

Layout 1 With many moors starting to reach their pre-war potential for grouse harvested and now with more consistency year on year, there is exciting scope to broaden the market for shot grouse. Introducing people to the unique taste of grouse is the first step and BASC have launched a smartly packaged 40g bag of Grouse & Whinberry crisps to give consumers confidence to try the real thing. Produced by a Wade Lane Farm in Staffordshire the packaging has a picture of glorious purple moorland and reads, “ Managed heather moorland is home to the red grouse. 75% of Europe’s upland heather moorland is found in the UK. It is rarer than rainforest.

Said Amanda Anderson, Director: ”I will be introducing them to my favourite local pubs, farm shop and supermarket in the run up to August 12th. Everyone keen to support grouse shooting can order the packets in boxes of 24 from http://tasteofgame.org.uk/product-category/crisps/
